Manufacturing Process

Similar to our traditional rig mats, these pipeline mats are constructed with steel, full contact treated wood (interior) and oak (entire top portion). Built with a bottom air wick channel, premium treated pipeline skids, and self-chocking, so there’s no need to chock separately. These oak mats will stay above ground due to the mat chassis and internal treated wood, which increases the oak life 3 to 4 times.

Grouser wear strips line the sides to protect the oak pipeline skids. The weight is around 2140# allowing you to carry 21 mats per truckload which cuts your transportation costs by 40%. Our pipeline ground protection mats can bear higher load values than conventional heavy equipment.
